Muir Woods Hike

I recently bought an annual pass for Muir Woods and have taken various friends for short and long hikes over the past several weeks. It’s great seeing the nuances in lighting and climate, and finding the best trails off the main path.  One of my favorites, is the Bootjack Trail, which is one of the oldest, original trails in the area. Here are some photos from a 11-mile loop hike that began from the main trail in Muir Woods, up the Bootjack trail, and over to the Dipsea trail on the way back.
